Annual Close-Up Magic Competition 2006

Tuesday 27th June 2006 and it's time once again for Manchester's Order of the Magi to hold their annual close-up magic competition, with 6 entrants competing for the awards

The outright winner for the evening was Philip Partidge, with Chris Stevenson runner up.

Chris Stevenson was awarded the John 'Sly' Smith shield for Best Card Trick.

The magical judges for the evening were Max Blake AIMC & Tony King, with Jim Shaw & Cyril Jones the lay judges. Our thanks go to them, without whom we wouldn't have a competition.

The other entrants were Stephen Ablett, Richard Blackie, Richie Farman and Alan Russell.
